I’ve been writing and editing for magazines since 1998, when I landed my first job gratefully fetching lattes and editing the TOC as an assistant editor at Elle. I’ve since held staff editing positions at Harper’s Bazaar, In Touch Weekly, Teen Vogue, and Boston.
I am now writer-at-large for Boston, a contributing writer at Hemispheres, and have served as a regional editor for Lucky.
I lead local and national magazine writing workshops and
seminars for mediabistro.com, and regularly consult for custom publishers. As a writer, I consider myself a true generalist, and enjoy investigative writing and in-depth health pieces as well as fun travelogues and pop-culture commentary. I live in the Boston area with my husband, Bob, and rescue cat, Joanie.
